Greetings Everyone,

As we round the corner and head into the year's end, I wanted to share with you a couple of bright spots on the Real Estate landscape.

The first piece of good news is that we closed the month of October, 2009 very strong with a surprising 21% increase in closed unit sales over the same month, October 2008. This jump in closed units companywide was largely due to you gaining a larger piece of the market pie. The higher unit sales translated into a 10% higher sales volume for us as well. We suspect that due to the high number of lower priced, distressed sales, i.e., Foreclosures, Quick Sales and Short Sales, the average sales price dropped just over 14%.

Next, we have the exciting news of the renewal of the $8,000.00 First Time Buyers Tax credit AND Congress went further to extend a $6,500.00 credit to most other buyers. This will certainly help our market in the coming months. Click Here to review some detailed information on the Act.
